“That’s not how the Force works.” – Han Solo
You can’t make the Force
Serve your own whim,
Follow your lead,
Or
Do your bidding;
It will make your head swim.
That’s not how the Force works.
Taking great power
To build up yourself
Is something very selfish,
So “Sithful”,
And
Hoarded up strength
On a shelf.
That’s not how the Force works.
Flying a banner
Blazoned with your name,
For a cause,
Or a duty
But,
Dying a martyr
In a roaring flame.
That’s not how the Force works.
Using this strength
To use others
Who trust you,
And
Make them afraid,
Instead of building
Their faith,
Or their good virtue.
That’s not how the Force works.
Going forth
Without prayer
And preparation
But,
Trusting your own
Determination,
Results in a empty religion
And lots of frustration,
Stops and hesitation,
Loads of unneeded stress
And perspiration,
Knots of forced work
But…
That’s not how the Force works.
Dear GPAVANTS
I liked your post on A powerful ally: The Living Force Part VI. I like how you talked about how to use the force and how not to. my question is how did you like the new star wars.

Hi Geo,
I thought it was great. Jedi was different from the others, but it has its own humor, dark moments, I thought witty moments, etc.
Have you seen it?
